CONNECTIONS

If you have spent any recent time in our class, you may have heard something like "I have a connection". All day, non stop these wonderful learners are making connections. They are making self to text connections, text to real world connections and self to self connections. They are always wanting to share what they are thinking, what they know and what they see that relates to something we have learned. What an amazing feeling as their teacher. They make it so easy for me to see if they retain what we learn. I cannot believe that they can find connections to their learning in their scabs, their snacks and in their free time. Thank you first graders for sharing your connections with me. You connect me to what is important and what matters to you all as learners. I love being the ears to catch all your connections each day.

Love, Miss Church

** Please forgive some of the sideways pictures... you can try to turn your head and flip your monitor.. ha!
